A mutual fund is a firm which collectively gathers money from a group of investors, and then uses that money to invest in various bonds, stocks, securities, assets, or money market instruments. Although they can be a rather tricky method of making money, if done correctly, they can be very lucrative. If done correctly, one can gain insight as to how to do it well, and make serious money out of it.
